LOSC coach Christophe Galtier has challenged his team to do better when they go to Reims in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off.

Lille, fourth last season, began the new campaign with a somewhat fortunate 1-1 home draw with Rennes and go to Champagne country without EURO 2016 champion Renato Sanches, out with an injured thigh.

The Lille attack, featuring new signing Jonathan David, struggled against Rennes and Galtier could switch to 4-4-2 at Reims with Turkish international Burak Yilmaz making his first start.

Galtier commented: "This week we have played a lot and playing is working. I have asked the players to be more precise in their positional play in relation to each other. I felt the need to get the team playing as a team in order to have greater understanding and co-ordination."

There are individual challenges as well as collective ones with Galtier adding: "Each player must up his game because it's also about individual performances. It must be better - much better - against Reims, especially on a sustained basis because we suffered and lost our playing principles against Rennes."
