Olympique Lyonnais' Dutch master Memphis Depay has given assurances that he has no intention of leaving OL this summer.

Recalled to the Dutch national team after a long absence due to and ACL injury, Memphis Depay is currently on UEFA Nations League duties with De Oranje but took some time out to speak about his future with Olympique Lyonnais.

The striker (26, 52 caps), who is under contract with the Rhône valley club through to the end of the 2020-21 season - and who turned in a sensational match-winning performance in OL's 4-1 season-opening win over Dijon - has scotched rumours that he could be leaving this summer.

'I feel good'

"I never said I wanted to leave," Depay told NOS on Monday, in reference to news stories quoting his saying that he has the quality to play for a bigger club. "When I say something, it's often distorted. I still have a one-year contract, I'm captain and we have a good team. We've shown that. I feel good about myself and also about my goals. I've always expressed that too."
