Gelson Martins, Zinédine Ferhat, Sada Thioub, Eduardo Camavinga and Farid El Melali have shown both proclivity and aptitude for beating their man, earning their place among the best dribblers early on in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats season.

A for effort

Portuguese winger Gelson Martins is the player who has attempted the most dribbles this season. In his 157 Ligue 1 Uber Eats minutes over the first two Ligue 1 Uber Eats rounds, the Monegasque has attempted 15 dribbles, six of which were successful. He is ahead of the Algerian Zinédine Ferhat (Nîmes Olympique) with his twelve dribbles.

El Melali and Camavinga very effective

In terms of successful dribbles, there are six top performers. Despite having attempted only eight dribbles, Eduardo Camavinga (Stade Rennais FC) and Farid El Melali (Angers SCO) have both equalled Martins, with six successes. And the latter did so in only 79 minutes of play! Angers SCO are also the team that has managed the most dribbles over two rounds (27), ahead of Stade Brestois 29 (24).

Among the best dribblers in relation to their playing time are Victorien Angban (FC Metz), with four successful dribbles in 59 minutes; Gaël Kakuta (RC Lens), with three successes out of five attempts in 68 minutes; and Jeff Reine-Adélaïde (OL) with the same record as Kakuta but in only 24 minutes on a Ligue 1 Uber Eats pitch. The young Jérémy Le Douaron (Stade Brestois 29) had three successes in 97 minutes on the field.
