The safeguarding protocol against the COVID-19 pandemic has been amended for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 following a meeting of the LFP's Administrative Council.
The changes come following requests from clubs and the learnings of the opening two rounds of matches.
The new protocol, drawn up in collaboration with public authorities, specifies notably that Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 games will be played as long as 20 players (including one goalkeeper) out of a squad of 30 test negative
This new protocol was relayed to clubs on Friday, 4 September, and applies as of that day.
As a consequence, the LFP Competitions Commission has asked Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs for their list of 30 players.
