Olympique Lyonnais goalkeeper Anthony Lopes has described the club's recent points haul as "unacceptable" after OL were held to a goalless draw by Nîmes Olympique on Friday night.

UEFA Champions League semi-finalists as recently as August, Lyon have made a less than ideal start to the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats campaign, winning just one of their four games to date.

"Worrying is a big word," Lopes, who made four saves against Nîmes, explained after the game. "But five points out of 12 is unacceptable for a club like Lyon. We have to do better at home, make the Groupama Stadium a fortress. We didn't. We're having a difficult week. There's a lot to improve.

Memphis Depay is the only Lyon player to have found the target so far this season, but coach Rudi Garcia isn't too concerned about his side's attacking output.

"It's obviously a poor performance," he said. "We lacked a cutting edge but in the last three games we've had chances to score early on. You have to take these chances. It's our own fault. We should have won because we're OL. We had the chances."

Lyon will next have the chance to set the record straight against promoted FC Lorient, whom they travel to after the international break.
