Olympique Lyonnais midfield Bruno Guimaraes has been called up to the latest Brazil squad alongside Paris Saint-Germain pair Neymar Jr. and Marquinhos.

Guimaraes has made Tite's 23-man squad for Brazil's FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Bolivia and Peru next month, joining the veteran Paris pair who have 148 senior international outings between them.

It is a welcome chance for the Lyon midfielder, who was first called up by the Selecao for the same fixtures in March before the coronavirus pandemic disrupted football competitions around the world.

Guimaraes has previously been captain of Brazil's Olympic U23 team, and he has started all four of Lyon's games thus far in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats campaign.

The France-based trio are joined in the squad by Thiago Silva, the veteran centre-back who made over 200 appearances for PSG before leaving the French champions for Chelsea in August.
