Olympique de Marseille's Dimitri Payet will miss two matches after seeing red for a dangerous tackle on Léo Dubois in the Olympico; Wahbi Khazri's red card as Saint-Etienne took on Lens will be examined next week.

Three players sent off in Ligue 1 Uber Eats Round 6 action had their cases examined by the LFP's Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday evening.

Two matches for Payet

For his red card in the Olympico, OM's Dimitri Payet has been handed a two-match ban with an additional match suspended, meaning he will miss Marseille's Ligue 1 Uber Eats fixtures against Bordeaux and Lorient.

As for AS Saint-Etienne, Timothée Kolodziejczak has been suspended for two matches for his red card against RC Lens and will miss the clashes with OGC Nice and Metz. FC Nantes' Andrei Girotto, another defender who saw red last weekend, has been given a flat one-match ban and will thus miss the visit of Brest on 18 October.

Concerning the case of Sainté's Wahbi Khazri, also sent off at Lens, the Disciplinary Committee postponed the hearing until Wednesday, 21 October, at the request of the club.
