Moussa Dembélé looks set to join Atletico Madrid on loan while Islam Slimani could return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats to replace him at Lyon, the club's sporting director Juninho has said.
With Tino Kadewere, Memphis Depay and Karl Toko Ekambi teaming up so well for Lyon, Dembélé has been limited to just six league starts this season and has scored just once for OL.
The former France U21 international forward has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract, but appears poised to head to the Spanish capital in search of time on the pitch.
"There's a possibility that he leaves," Juninho told Telefoot. "Nothing has been done, but we're talking to Atletico and I think Moussa has reached a deal with Atletico. If it comes off, I wish him good luck.

"I am still counting on him, but Moussa came to see us and he thinks it's time to change club. It wouldn't be good to hold on to a player who doesn't want to live the next five months in an intense fashion."
Slimani, 32, had an impressive loan spell at Monaco last season, scoring nine goals and tallying seven assists in just 18 top-flight appearances, but returned to parent club Leicester City in the summer.
The Algeria international has played just 19 minutes of English Premier League football this season, and with six months left on his contract in England, presents a viable option should Dembélé depart.
"We're following him," admitted Juninho. "He wants to come to us at OL, but nothing has been done yet."
