Lyon will be without Lucas Paqueta for next weekend's Rhône derby with Saint-Etienne after the Brazil international midfielder was handed a one-match ban.
Paqueta was shown a yellow card in Lyon's 2-2 draw at Rennes last weekend, his third caution in 10 competitive appearances in France this season, which incurs an automatic one-game suspension.
His first yellow card had come in the 2-1 derby win over Saint-Etienne in Round 10, and had he avoided a booking in Brittany, he would have been eligible to face Les Verts again barring a red card in this weekend's game against Metz.
Rennes' Benjamin Bourigeaud will also miss his club's home game with Lille in Round 21 for the same accumulation of yellow cards as will the visitors' midfielder Xeka, while Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez will sit out his team's trip to Monaco the same weekend.
