Back in action after 17 days without a match because of a Covid outbreak, Ligue 1 Uber Eats' bottom club Lorient host 18th-placed Dijon on Wednesday evening.
LORIENT - DIJON
(Kick-off at 20:00 CET on Wednesday evening)
Lorient coach Christophe Pelissier joked: "I have never had as much contact with the club doctor. The most important thing is the health of the players. We need to adapt. I hope that physically my players will be at their best. I know they'll be there from a mental standpoint."
Bottom of the table with 12 points, a win would allow Les Merlus to go level on 15 points with the two clubs above them in the standings, Nîmes and Dijon. Dijon moved out of the bottom two thanks to a point at home to Strasbourg at the weekend, while Lorient's scheduled match at Nîmes was postponed.
Dijon are unbeaten in their last four league matches, under David Linarès whereas Lorient have lost five of their last six, the exception being the crucial 3-0 home win over Nîmes on December 13.
Linarès said: "By focusing on our game plan we have been a solid team away from home for some time now. Our desire is to go there and carry on our run. A point would be a good result."
