Paris Saint-Germain have extended their contract with Juan Bernat, the Spain left-back signing on with the French champions until 20215.
Bernat joined PSG from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2018 and has won five major honours at the club including two Ligue 1 Uber Eats titles.
He has had to watch on as Mitchel Bakker and Layvin Kurzawa occupied the left-back spot in PSG's side so far this season due to a ruptured cruciate ligament, but club and player are keen to see him back on the field for es Rouge et Bleu soon.
"It's a bit of everything, it's the club, it's the affection that everyone shows me here, the supporters, my teammates," Bernat told PSG's official website of his decision to extend.
"There's a really exciting project here and I'm happy to be a part of it. I think that we can achieve great things together, that's one of the reasons that I wanted to continue my time here at the club, and I hope to be able to play here for several more years."
