At its meeting on Wednesday 24 March 2021, the FFF Executive Committee validated the general competition calendar for the 2021-22 season.
At its meeting on 11 March 2021, the LFP Board of Directors adopted the dates for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT seasons.
Ligue 1 Uber Eats
In Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the first round of the 2021-22 season will take place on Friday 6 August-Sunday 8 August 2021.
Three rounds of Ligue 1 Uber Eats (R7, R16 and R19) will take place as mid-week rounds.
Round 19, scheduled for Wednesday 22 December 2021, will be the last round of the first half of the season before the winter break and thus the last round of the calendar year. The league season will resume in 2022 with Round 20, which will take place on the weekend of 7, 8 and 9 January 2022.
The 38th and final round of Ligue 1 Uber Eats for the 2021-22 season has been set for Saturday 21 May 2022 (multiplex).
The Ligue 1 Uber Eats Play-offs, which pit the 18th-placed side in Ligue 1 Uber Eats against the winner of the Ligue 2 BKT Play-offs, are set for Thursday 26 May and Sunday 29 May 2022.
Ligue 2 BKT
Ligue 2 BKT will resume on the weekend of 24 July 2021 and run through to Saturday 14 May 2022, the date of the 38th and final round of the season.
Three rounds of Ligue 2 BKT (R9, R19 and R34) will take place during the week.
The last round of the first half of the season season’s first half (R19) will take place on Tuesday 21 December 2021, with the first round of the second half of the season (R20) will take place on Saturday 8 January 2022.
The two play-off matches will take place on Tuesday 17 May and Friday 20 May 2022.
The Ligue 2 BKT Play-offs, which pit the 18th-placed side in Ligue 2 BKT against the third-placed side from the National (D3), will be played on Tuesday 24 May and Sunday May 29 2022.
Trophée des Champions
The 2021 edition of the Trophée des Champions, which traditionally pits the Ligue 1 Uber Eats champions against the winners of the Coupe de France, will take place on Sunday, 1 August 2021.
Coupe de France
The Coupe de France final will take place on Sunday, 8 May 2022.
