Oscar Garcia is set to return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats after being confirmed as the replacement for David Guion as Reims' coach for next season.
Garcia had a brief spell as Saint-Etienne boss in the early stages of the 2017/18 French top-flight season. Following stints in charge of Olympiacos and Celta Vigo since, the former Barcelona player will now replace Guion at Reims for the 2021/22 season.
"Everyone has the name of the successor, even if things haven't been made official yet," said Reims president Jean-Pierre Caillot on French TV.
"We're not going to talk in cliches. It's Oscar Garcia who'll be the coach of Reims next season."
Garcia, 47, will take over from Guion, who announced this month he will step down after four years as first-team boss and nine years as a coach at the club.
