Exceptionally, the resumption of the league season (Round 16) will take place on Wednesday 28 December 2022 in the form of a French-style 'boxing day'. This special programme will be followed by Ligue 1 Uber Eats's Round 17 on Sunday 1 January 2023.
The 38th and final round of Ligue 1 Uber Eats for the 2022-23 season has been set for Sunday 4 June 2023.
Ligue 2 BKT
Ligue 2 BKT will resume on the weekend of 30 July 2022 and run until Saturday 3 June 2023, the date of the 38th and final round.
As in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Round 15, scheduled for the weekend of 12 November 2022, will be the last matchday before the start of the international break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Like Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the resumption of the championship (Round 16) will take place exceptionally on Tuesday 27 December 2022 in the form of a French-style 'boxing day'. This special programme will also be followed by Ligue 2 BKT's round 17 on Sunday 1 January 2023.
As a reminder, there will be no play-offs at the end of the 2022-23 season. The bottom four from Ligue 1 Uber Eats will drop to Ligue 2 BKT and the top two from Ligue 2 BKT will be promoted to Ligue 1 Uber Eats. At the same time, the bottom four from Ligue 2 BKT will drop to the National and the top two from the National will move up to Ligue 2 BKT.
The full 2022-23 general competition calendar will be published on Thursday 14 October following its conclusive adoption by the FFF Executive Committee.
