This is the Parisian's best tally in a single Ligue 1 Uber Eats season - a feat he first achieved in the 2016-17 campaign, when he helped Monaco pip PSG to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats title. The young man from the Paris region has rocketed through the first half of the current campaign and can aim high with half the season still to go.

Mbappé has been the leader of the official assists table since Round 13 and is now one step ahead of his runner-up, Jonathan Clauss (seven assists), against whom he faced off at the weekend. Mbappé has been involved in 15 goals (seven goals and eight assists) and is the most decisive player in the league this season, ahead of Amine Gouiri, Gaëtan Laborde and Ludovic Ajorque (all 12).

Payet continues his rise, Majer sees triple

A little further down the table, Dimitri Payet returned to the top five with his fifth assist of the season. The OM No10, who has notched an assist in each of the last three games, is now close to the symbolic mark of 100 career assists in the top flight - his assist for Gerson's superb goal was his 96th in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

Meanwhile, Ibrahima Sissoko moved up to twelfth place with four assists when he set up Ludovic Ajorque for a goal against OGC Nice. The RC Strasbourg Alsace midfielder has already smashed his record for assists in 2021-22, having never before delivered more than one in a single season in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

Finally, the standout assists performance of Round 17 is undoubtedly that of Lovro Majer. Rennes' Croatian international provided three assists against AS Saint-Etienne, all three of them to Martin Terrier - the second hat-trick of the season in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, after the one scored by Lionel Messi (Round 15, also at Saint-Etienne). He is now two points off the podium and in 14th position with 4 assists for the season.
