Who are the record-breaking Ligue 1 Uber Eats players in terms of matches with one club? We take a deep-dive as Olympique Lyonnais 'keeper Anthony Lopes gets set to play his 300th OL match in France's top flight in Friday's derby against arch-rivals Saint-Etienne!

Who are the league's staunchest-ever one-club men? Like record holder Jean-Luc Ettori, they have spent their entire career in the French league under the colours of a single club. Here are the players with the most Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches played with the same team over the past half-century and among the current players.

Ettori, Nantes and the goalkeepers

Over the 52 years since the 1969-70 season, some 20 players have played 300 or more Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches for the same club. Among them is 31-year-old Anthony Lopes (OL), who is set to make his 300th appearance for Lyon in Ligue 1 Uber Eats during Friday's derby against Les Verts.

But the record holder in this domain is Jean-Luc Ettori. He was a goalkeeper for AS Monaco between 1975 and 1994 and has played 602 league games for the Principality. He is followed by another goalkeeper who spent his entire career with the same club: former Nantes man Jean-Paul Bertrand-Demanes (531 matches). The podium is completed by former winger Bertrand-Demanes fellow Canari Loïc Amisse and his 503 games.

The best-represented club is FC Nantes with five players having played more than 300 games for the Loire-Atlantique outfit. In addition to Bertrand-Demanes and Amisse, there are Henri Michel, Gilles Rampillon and Nicolas Savinaud. The second club with the most players to have racked up 300 or more matches is AS Saint-Etienne, with three players: Loïc Perrin (10th overall) Gérard Farison (16th) and Ivan Curkovic (20th).

Mandanda in the all-time Top 10

While waiting Lopes to join the club on Friday, only one player still active in Ligue 1 Uber Eats  appears in this prestigious list. Currently in sixth place, Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has now played more than 450 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches for the club. The world champion goalkeeper arrived on the Canebière from Le Havre AC in 2007 and has been at OM ever since, with the exception of a spell at Crystal Palace in England in 2016-17.
