Montpellier Hérault SC is strengthening its midfield. The club currently in sixth place on the Ligue 1 Uber Eats table has announced the recruitment of Gabriel Barès from FC Lausanne-Sport (Switzerland).
Described by MHSC as 'a promising young player of 21 years', the midfielder has participated in 14 games in the Swiss league this season and was notably called up to Swiss U21 team for the first time in September 2021.
Nicollin: 'A player with great potential'
"I am happy to welcome this Swiss youth international, who is considered by our recruitment team as a player with great potential," said club president Laurent Nicollin after the signing of his new number 15. "I hope he adapts well and trains hard. We now have another young gun in our squad."
The duration of the contract signed by Montpellier 'keeper Jonas Omlin's compatriot was not disclosed.
