With his four-assist haul in 2018, Lyon's Memphis Depay alone holds the record for the number of assists delivered in a match in Ligue 1 Uber Eats since the creation of the assists chart in the 2007-08 season. Lionel Messi (PSG) arrived in France last summer and set another record in his first season in our league, becoming the first player to score two hat-tricks in the same season (R15 at Saint-Etienne and R31 at Clermont). With seven games left to play, the 2021-22 season also goes into the record books with five assist hat-tricks, level with season 2015-16.
In addition to Messi, Rennes' Lovro Majer (R17 at Saint-Etienne) and Benjamin Bourigeaud (R29 against Metz), as well as Parisian Kylian Mbappé (R30 against Lorient), have also dished out three assists in the same match this season, bringing the total to 26 Ligue 1 Uber Eats assist hat-tricks since the creation of the assists chart.
