Lyon striker Moussa Dembélé was the big mover in Round 36, scoring twice as the top three contenders endured a quiet weekend in front of goal.

No breakthrough

Top scorer Kylian Mbappé was unable to add to his 24 goals in Round 36 as Paris Saint-Germain drew 2-2 at home to Troyes.

The 23-year-old has two games remaining to cement his place at the top of the charts and claim his third-consecutive Top Scorer award and fourth in total.

Wissam Ben Yedder was unable to add to his ever-increasing tally during Monaco's 2-1 win at LOSC on Friday evening. The 31-year-old remains on 21 goals for the season as Monaco stretched their winning run to eight games.

Rennes forward Martin Terrier will have to wait until Wednesday evening for his Round 36 fixture due to Nantes' Coupe de France exploits over the weekend. Terrier and Rennes head to La Beaujoire in good form and hoping to spoil Les Canari's celebratory occasion.

Relentless

In the absence of Terrier, Moussa Dembélé was the big mover in Round 36, registering two goals in Lyon's 3-2 reverse at Metz.

Dembélé climbs to 19 goals for the season - two behind Ben Yedder and Terrier - with two games left to play.

Next up..

The penultimate Round of the season sees all 20 Ligue clubs kick off simultaneously on Saturday evening as we reach the business end of the season.

Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain head to the south coast to take on a Montpellier side struggling for form whilst Monaco and Wissam Ben Yedder entertain Brest at the Stade Louis II.

Martin Terrier and Rennes host Marseille in the most intriguing match of Round 37 which could be an indication of who finishes on the podium at the end of the season.

Moussa Dembélé will hope to continue his hot streak when Nantes visit the Groupama Stadium.
