PSG remain unbeaten

Paris Saint-Germain extended their unbeaten start to the season after edging past a stubborn Troyes side 4-3 at the Parc des Princes.

Mama Baldé volleyed Troyes into a shock lead (3') then bagged himself a second (52') to cancel out Carlos Soler's equaliser (24') for the champions. PSG hit back in style thanks to a superb strike from Lionel Messi (55') as well as goals from Neymar (62') and Kylian Mbappé (77').

Troyes netted late on through Ante Palaversa (88') but PSG held on for another home victory.

“We attacked well and scored some great goals but we conceded three goals, and that's three goals too many," added PSG coach Christophe Galtier after seeing his side ship five goals in their past two games. "We were average at reacting when we lost the ball. It’s not that there was no desire to react to losing the ball. It was that we weren’t very intense in doing so, and we lost a lot of challenges because of it. We need to fix it."

Openda keeps Lens in touch

A hat-trick from Lois Openda gave Lens a 3-0 victory against Toulouse at the Stade Bollaert- Delelis.

Substitute Openda, was only introduced to the action in the 56th minute but turned the game on its head by heading home the opener just four-minutes later. He then added two more (87' & 90') to see off Toulouse and keep his side in touch with leaders PSG.

"We are happy," said Lens coach Franck Haise after leading his side to their ninth win of the campaign. "We're glad to have 30 points and to have kept a clean sheet. You have to enjoy the moment but we are only at round 13 of the season. There's still lots more work to be done. I'm satisfied but the game that matters most is always the next one."

Strasbourg stun Marseille

A late strike from Kevin Gameiro earned Strasbourg a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Marseille.

Marseille took an eight-minute lead through Bamba Dieng before Issa Kaboré extended the visitors' advantage (35') with a neat finish. Strasbourg hit back in style through Lebo Mothiba (76') before Gameiro's added-time volley salvaged a point for Julien Stéphan's side.

Nice stage Lorient fightback

Nice came from behind to beat Lorient 2-1 at the Stade Du Moustoir.

Dango Ouattara broke the deadlock for Régis Le Bris' side (18') but they were pegged back when Youcef Atal found the net for Les Aiglons (61'). Gaëtan Laborde's deflected effort settled matters eight-minutes later to hand Nice a big away win.

Relentless Rennes march on

Rennes made it five wins on the spin after a convincing 3-0 victory over Montpellier.

Martin Terrier continued his excellent form in front of goal when he netted the opener (15'). Arnaud Kalimuendo added a second eight-minutes later before in-form Amine Gouiri rounded off the scoring five-minutes from time.

Lacazette sinks LOSC

A second-half goal from Alexandre Lacazette handed Lyon a 1-0 win over LOSC.

Lacazette turned in Nicolas Tagliafico's cross (74') to give Laurent Blanc a second-successive win as coach of Les Gones

Monaco see off Angers

Two second-half goals were enough for Monaco to overcome Angers 2-0 at the Stade Louis II.

Breel Embolo continued his purple patch in front of goal by firing the principality side in front (54'). Aleksandr Golovin added another (70') to keep Monaco in the hunt for the podium.

Nantes snatch late equaliser

Nantes came from a goal down to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Clermont.

Neto Borges headed the visitors into a 54th-minute lead but they were unable to see the game out as Mostafa Mohamed fired home the leveller (73') for Antoine Kombouaré's men.

Auxerre pick up vital win

Auxerre did their survival hopes no harm with a 1-0 win at home to Ajaccio.

The only goal of the game came from the boot of Hamza Sakhi in the eighth minute when his effort from range found the top corner, handing new boss Christophe Pélissier a win in his first game at the helm.

Goalless at Brest

Brest and Reims battled to a goalless draw at the Stade Francis le Blé. The result keeps Reims in the drop zone, whilst Reims remain in 12th place.
