Lens striker Lois Openda was the big mover in Round 13 as his hat-trick kept Franck Haise's men in touch with leaders Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the table.
Openda was Lens' hero in their 3-0 win over Toulouse. The 22-year-old came on as a second-half substitute and grabbed himself a hat-trick as Lens continued their pursuit of leaders PSG.
The Belgian headed Lens in front shortly after entering the pitch, sending the Stade Bollaert-Delelis into raptures.
Openda put an end to proceedings by adding his second of the night - three-minutes from time.
He then completed his first hat-trick for the club when he netted in added time to take his goal tally to seven for the season.
Kylian Mbappé strengthened his grip on top spot after scoring his 11th goal of the season from the penalty spot in Paris Saint-Germain's 4-3 win over Troyes.
Neymar was back amongst the goals to notch his tenth of the season after missing Round 12 through suspension. The Brazilian latched onto a superb pass from Lionel Messi to put the reigning champions in the ascendancy.
Messi got himself on the scoresheet against Troyes with a fabulous effort from range to put the Parisian's back on level terms after falling behind. The Argentine is up to seven goals for the season and is in the midst of some fine form for Christophe Galtier's side.
Mama Magic
Troyes' two goals came from the boot of Mama Baldé who took his tally up to seven goals for the season. His first was a fabulously executed volley after just three minutes to silence the Parc des Princes.
Baldé's second was a cool finish early in the second half to again hand his side the advantage. The Guinea-Bissau international has enjoyed a stellar season so far for Troyes and his brace at the home of the champions would have done his reputation no harm.
Alexandre Lacazette got himself on the scoresheet for Lyon in their 1-0 win over LOSC. Lacazette netted from close range to take his season tally to eight, since making his return to the club this summer.
Rennes pair Martin Terrier and Amine Gouiri were both on target yet again to fire Bruno Genesio's men to a 3-0 win over Montpellier.
Terrier headed the Breton side in front after 15 minutes to register his eight goal of the season.
Gouiri finished off Montpellier five-minutes from time for his sixth goal of the season. The Frenchman has now scored in each of his last five league games.
