Ligue 1 Uber Eats' World Cup stars and their respective clubs swing back into action in festive style in the last week of 2022, with a mid-week Round 16 quickly followed up by Round 17 at the weekend. Who will hit the ground running?

Following a stunning 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - the final of which saw Paris Saint-Germain's Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé duke it out for football's biggest prize - Ligue 1 Uber Eats returns to action with Round 16 on Wednesday, 28 December 2022.

The PSG pair weren't the only Ligue 1 Uber Eats players to shine in Qatar. OL's Argentinean left-back Nicolas Tagliafico lifted the World Cup alongside Messi; PSG's Achraf Hakimi and Anger's Azzedine Ounahi and Sofiane Boufal (among others!) helped Morocco to reach an historic semis berth; and PSG's Neymar and Marquinhos (both Brazil), Rennes' Lovro Majer (Croatia) and Joe Rodon (Wales), and LOSC's Jonathan David (Canada) and Timothey Weah (USA) - plus a host of others - all contributed to their respective country's successes.
