Paris Saint-Germain have announced that Spain attacking midfielder Pablo Sarabia has left the club for Wolverhampton Wanderers on a two-and-a-half-year deal. Sarabia played 98 matches for the capital club, collecting no fewer than eight trophies in the process.

After three and a half years, Spain forward Pablo Sarabia has opted to leave Paris Saint-Germain for an opportunity in the English Premier League, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with 16th-placed club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday.

The quest

The 30-year-old, constantly on the search for more game time - he was loaned out to spring Lisbon for the 2021-22 season - has decided to stop vying with the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr for playing minutes despite having been right among the silverware during his stint in the French capital.

While racking 22 goals and 12 assists in 98 matches for the Parisian outfit, Sarabia won two Ligue 1 Uber Eats titles (2020, 2022), two Coupes de France (2020, 2021), one Coupe de la Ligue (2020) and three Trophée des Champions (2019, 2020, 2022).
