OM defender Eric Bailly has been suspended for seven matches by the FFF's disciplinary committee on Thursday.

OM defender Eric Bailly has been suspended for seven matches by the FFF disciplinary committee after being sent off against Hyères in the Coupe de France on Thursday.

Five matches to go

The Ivorian has already served two of these seven games of suspension, against Troyes and Lorient in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. He will now miss Friday's Coupe de France round of 16 match against Rennes as well as the next four matches on Marseille's calendar: namely those in Ligue 1 Uber Eats against AS Monaco (R20), FC Nantes (R21) and OGC Nice (R22), and possibly the trip to Clermont (R23), in case OM are eliminated from the Coupe de France in the round of 32.

If OM qualify at Rennes' expense on Friday, Eric Bailly will serve his seventh and final match in the Coupe de France's round of 16 (Wednesday 8 February).

Two matches for Djoco

In addition, the FFF Disciplinary Committee sanctioned Clermont Foot goalkeeper Ouparine Djoco on Thursday with a two-match suspension (unsportsmanlike conduct), following the Coupe de France match against FCOSK 06.
