Kylian Mbappé, Terem Moffi, Elye Wahi... which pacy forward has pushed the needle further than the rest in 28 rounds of Ligue 1 Uber Eats action this season? Read on...

Kylian Mbappé is not alone at the top. Clocked at 36km/h, Paris Saint-Germain's No.7, known for his speed, has long been the fastest player this season. However, he has been almost matched by another striker. With a much larger frame (1.88m and 89kg compared to 1.78m and 73kg for the Parisian), Terem Moffi (FC Lorient then OGC Nice) is a formidable sprinter, having also reached 36km/h when turning out for Lorient earlier in the season.

Behind the two leaders, there are now four men standing on the third step of the podium. Abdallah Sima (Angers SCO), Elye Wahi (MHSC) and Achraf Hakimi (PSG), three other particularly fast players who were recently caught by the young Lorient player Yoann Cathline.

25 players at over 35 km/h

Behind these six sprinters, 19 players are tied with a performance calculated at over 35 km/h. Among them, Kévin Gameiro is in a good position. At 35 years of age, the RC Strasbourg Alsace striker has lost none of his speed, being the only player over 30 years of age to appear in the Top Ten. Flashing by at 35.28 km/h, he is on a par with Thomas Delaine (RCSA), Falaye Sacko (MHSC), Jackson Porozo (ESTAC), Chrislain Matsima (FC Lorient), Caio Henrique (AS Monaco) and Ismail Jakobs (AS Monaco), the fastest defenders this season behind Hakimi.
