PSG are closing on a record-setting 11th Ligue 1 Uber Eats title and are overwhelming favourites to beat basement club Angers SCO at their Stade Raymond Kopa in Friday's Round 32 curtain-raiser.
After a recent wobble, Paris have put together back-to-back wins against OGC Nice and RC Lens to open up an eight-point lead on Olympique de Marseille at the top of the table, Lens having been their nearest challengers before last Saturday's 3-1 win over les Sang et Or.
Verratti to start?
Verratti has returned to training, meanwhile, lightening a lengthy list of injury absentees that includes Neymar Jr., Presnel Kimpembe and Renato Sanches. Despite being separated by 58 points, Christophe Galtier is unlikely to rotate too much.
"There are seven games left; I know that Lens and Marseille won't give up," he said. "We must stay focused. I only just noticed that we 've been in top spot since the start of the season.

"We have to stay on this trajectory and prepare well for Angers. Our fixture list might look favourable, but it's only favourable if we invest ourselves fully and show a great determination to win."
Neymar won't play again this season after undergoing ankle surgery, but Kylian Mbappé - who recently became the club's all-time top scorer on 203 goals - and Lionel Messi have looked potent as a front two in recent weeks. Juan Bernat could get the nod at left-back with Nuno Mendes managing a hamstring injury.
Too little, too late for Angers
With four teams getting relegated from Ligue 1 Uber Eats this season, Angers are 17 points adrift of safety, although they have enjoyed a decent run of late, holding OGC Nice to a 1-1 draw before beating LOSC 1-0.
They came crashing back down to earth last Sunday, though, losing 2-1 to Clermont Foot 63, who scored with a pair of penalties before ending the game with nine men. Galtier's opposite number Alexandre Dujeux remains upbeat ahead of the PSG challenge, though.

"For football fans, playing against PSG is extraordinary," he said. "It's demanding because they're formidable. Players always want to rise to the occasion against teams like this.
"We'll try to take advantage and give the maximum. We're studying the opponent and trying to find the right formula."
History on PSG's side
Angers haven't picked up so much as a point against PSG since a goalless draw back in December 2015, in which they kept Edinson Cavani - the man Mbappé recently overtook for his record - quiet.
Dujeux will have to come up with a solution that doesn't include Nabil Bentaleb, with his star midfielder suspended. With Pierrick Capelle suffering from a thigh strain, look for 17-year-old Jean-Mattéo Bahoya to start.
Possible teams
Angers: Bernardoni; Sabanovic, Valery, Hountondji, Ghoulam, Kalumba; Bahoya, Mendy, Hunou; Abdelli, Niane
PSG: Donnarumma; Marquinhos, Ramos, Danilo; Hakimi, Soler, Verratti, Vitinha, Bernat; Messi, Mbappé
