Lyon welcome Marseille to the Groupama stadium trailing their second-placed visitors by 14 points, but with only five to make up on the European places after losing just one of their last eight Ligue 1 Uber Eats games.
Les Gones have won each of their last three - which included beating league leaders and champions Paris Saint-Germain at the start of the month - and most recently prevailed against Toulouse, with Alexandre Lacazette having a hand in both goals as they won 2-1.
Blanc's Tudor jibe
OL head coach Laurent Blanc had only been in the job a month when Marseille won November's reverse fixture 1-0. He couldn't resist having a dig at his opposite number Igor Tudor in the pre-match press conference.

"What's certain is that he doesn't coach as he played," he said of his fellow former centre-back, who played for Juventus when Blanc was at Inter Milan between 1999 and 2001. "Tudor was rough on the pitch, but he's a very good coach.
"They're one of the best teams in the league, constantly changing shape, athletically really strong. It's total football. We need an extraordinary run to finish fifth, even playing the Europa Conference League would be a feat. We play football for games like this."
Right-back to the drawing board?
Blanc has a headache at right-back with Saël Kumbedi suspended and the now Chelsea-owned Malo Gusto only just overcoming a hamstring injury. Sinaly Diomandé, a centre-back by trade, could fill in on the right of a back four.
Blanc does at least welcome Bradley Barcola back from suspension. He is likely to start in attack with Lacazette with Rayan Cherki in support.
Marseille returned to second in Ligue 1 Uber Eats last Sunday with a 3-1 win over ESTAC Troyes, which came 24 hours after PSG had beaten hitherto nearest challengers RC Lens by the same scoreline.

Portuguese striker Vitinha bagged his first two Marseille goals against Troyes and could keep his place at the point of the attack with Alexis Sanchez having to accept a deeper role, even as the club try to tie him down to a longer-term contract.
Tudor: 'Vitinha's different'
"Since the last international break, he's come back different," Tudor said of the striker, who joined from Braga in January. "He's brought freshness, great energy, and attacked spaces. He's always dangerous in the box, that's his main characteristic."
Cengiz Under, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Mattéo Guendouzi and Dimitri Payet would appear to be competing for one place alongside Alexis and behind Vitinha, with Azzedine Ounahi (broken foot) and Amine Harit (sprained LCL ligaments) still sidelined.
