It's time for Ligue 1 Uber Eats's annual according of individual honours, with the players' association the UNFP announcing the nominees for Player of the Season, Young Player of the season, Goalkeeper of the Season and Coach of the Season. Who will you vote for? Pt I: Player of the Season.

Player of the Season

Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé - currently Ligue 1 Uber Eats's top scorer with 26 goals (plus five assists for a total of 31 goal involvements)- is a very real candidate as his own successor for the title of Player of the Season, but he will face stiff competition from teammate and World Cup nemesis Lionel Messi, whose World-Cup winning season has seen him rack up 15 goals and 15 assists.

The Parisian pair will have to see off competition from LOSC goal machine Jonathan David, who is currently on a career-best 21 goals (four assists), RC Lens' talismanic captain Seko Fofana, who has been one of the driving forces in his side's success this season, and Loïs Openda, whose 19 goals (three assists) - often in clutch situations - have shown that he is a striker of rare quality.
