PSG retain title

Paris Saint-Germain were once again crowned Ligue 1 Uber Eats champions after a 1-1 draw at Strasbourg.

Lionel Messi put the capital club in front (59') before Kévin Gameiro levelled for Strasbourg (79') to ensure they play top-flight football again next season.

"Strasbourg wanted to ensure that they stayed up and we wanted to be crowned champions tonight," said a victorious PSG coach Christophe Galtier after scooping his second Ligue 1 Uber Eats title in three years. "I think that we put in a serious and committed performance, but it was difficult. We were still missing lots of players. This title is the 11th, it's historic. I also have to congratulate those that came before me that won titles for Paris Saint-Germain. We are able to celebrate the 11th title this evening because there were ten before us and so there were predecessors who did an excellent job. The whole club managed to stay on course, whether it was the board, the coach, the staff or the players, even in difficult times, to go out and win this 11th league title."

Lens qualify for Champions League

Lens comfortably saw off Ajaccio 3-0 at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis to secure a second-placed finish.

First-half goals from Deiver Machado (16'), Adrien Thomasson (22') and Loïs Openda (35') handed Lens safe passage into next season's Champions League group stage.

"It's beautiful," said Lens goalkeeper Brice Samba. "We worked hard all season to make the people of Lens proud. I have no words to describe pride. It's been a long time since the club was in the European Cup so we will enjoy it.

Brest silence the Vélodrome

Brest picked up a superb 2-1 win at Marseille to ensure the hosts have to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Hugo Magnetti's opener for Brest (57') was cancelled out by Chancel Mbemba's equaliser (75'). But Mahdi Camara had the final say with an 81st-minute header to hand Brest the points.

Rennes take the ascendancy

Rennes leapfrogged Monaco in the race for Europe with 2-0 win at Roazhon Park.

Goals from Lovro Majer (52') and Amine Gouiri (73') moved Bruno Genesio's side up to fifth place on the table.

David double downs Nantes

Two penalties from Jonathan David handed LOSC a 2-1 win at home to Nantes.

Les Canaris took the lead early on through Quentin Merlin (18') but were pegged back early in the second half when David slotted home from the spot (51'). The Canadian kept his cool to convert his second penalty of the game (88') to keep LOSC's Europa League dreams alive, whilst pushing Nantes closer to relegation.

Lyon see off Reims

Lyon signed off at the Groupama Stadium with a 3-0 win against Reims.

An Emmanuel Agbadou own-goal (2') was followed by goals from Alexandre Lacazette (9') and Maxence Caqueret (82') to hand Laurent Blanc's side maximum points.

Nice stage fantastic comeback

Nice fought back from two-goals down to beat Montpellier 3-2 at the Stade de la Mosson.

Second-half goals from Ross Barkley (53') and Gaëtan Laborde (67' & 79') cancelled out Téji Savanier's double for Montpellier (7' & 17').

Clermont pick up win

Clermont got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win at home to Lorient.

Saïf-Eddine Khaoui opened the scoring for the hosts (44') before Maximiliano Caufriez put the game to bed late on (74').

Auxerre claim vital point

Auxerre boosted their survival hopes with a 1-1 draw at Toulouse

Rayan Raveloson fired Auxerre in front (24') but the relegation-threatened side were pegged back when Zakaria Aboukhlal equalised on the stroke of half time.

Angers see off Troyes

Angers won the battle of the relegated sides with a 2-1 win at home to Troyes.

The visitors took the lead through Xavier Chavalerin (13') but Angers levelled in style thanks to Himad Abdelli (38'). Angers nicked a winner in the final minute when Lilian Rao-Lisoa fired home for the league's bottom side.
