In its meeting on Thursday, 11 March, the LFP's Board of Directors voted to hold the 2021 edition of the Trophée des Champions in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The LFP and event partners COMTEC Group are very pleased that the Trophée des Champions will be held abroad again.

COMTEC Group has more than 35 years of experience in the production and organisation of massive international events. Among the sports events organized by COMTEC we can highlight "Euroleague Final 4 Tel Aviv, 2004"; the "Euroleague Final 4 Athens, 2007"; the "The FC Barcelona Peace Tour in 2013"; the "FIBA Eurobasket Tel Aviv 2017"; "La Grande Partenza of the Giro D'Italia Cycling Grand Tour from Jerusalem to Rome in Israel”; and the "European Judo Championship" in Tel Aviv, both in 2018; the visit and friendly match of Atlético de Madrid to Israel on May 2019, the friendly match between the national football teams of Argentina and Uruguay in Tel Aviv on November 2019 ; and the Grand Slam Judo 2021 in Tel Aviv in February 2021.
