During the 2023-24 season, the Stade Pierre-Mauroy has been a formidable fortress for LOSC Lille. Les Dogues have secured 26 points from 11 Ligue 1 matches played at home, boasting an impressive record of eight victories, two draws, and just one defeat.

Paris Saint-Germain and Lille are currently neck-and-neck for the most points secured at home this season. Following closely behind are OGC Nice with 24 points, Olympique de Marseille with 23 points, and Stade Brestois with 22 points, all vying for the top spots alongside the leading duo.

Lille's remarkable success at home this season can largely be attributed to their solid defense. Among the top five European leagues, LOSC stands out with the most potent home defense, conceding a mere four goals.

Following Lille in boasting the strongest home defenses among Europe's top five leagues are OGC Nice (five goals conceded), Inter Milan (six goals conceded), Torino (six goals conceded), Valencia (six goals conceded), Bayer Leverkusen (six goals conceded), Olympique de Marseille (six goals conceded), and Juventus (six goals conceded).

Les Dogues have accumulated the highest number of home clean sheets (eight) among all teams in Europe's top five leagues. Lille's remarkable home performances cannot be solely attributed to their defensive efforts.

Jonathan David has netted nine out of his 11 Ligue 1 goals this season in home matches, with a notable hat trick in the 3-0 victory against Le Havre last Saturday. The Canadian player is also the top scorer in Ligue 1 in 2024, with six goals.

In the intense competition to secure a berth in next season's UEFA Champions League, Lille's performance at home could sway the odds in their favor.
