Euro 2020 qualifying, Matchday 4

Estadi Nacional, Andorra La Vella

Andorra - France (Kick-off at 20:45 CET)

The loss in Konya, Turkey, was the result of one of the least accomplished performances in the era of coach Didier Deschamps, but the World Champions have known difficulties before and come back bigger, better and stronger.

Now, as they get set to right the ship on the synthetic surface of Andorra's Estadi Nacional, France captain Hugo Lloris knows that his side need to be humble and get back to basics.

Lloris: 'Make sure we're at our best'

"We were surprised by our performance. We were expecting a lot better, and after a performance like that, the first thing is to ask yourself the tough questions on an individual level," said the Tottenham 'keeper, who helped his side to the UEFA Champions League final in the season just passed. "So, even though we have a bigger potential than Andorra on paper, we will have to make sure we're at our best out on the pitch."

Meanwhile, Deschamps has been preparing meticulously and is hoping his players can step it up for this last outing before the internaitonal break in September.

Deschamps: 'Final push'

"There is one final push to make for the season," the France boss reminded his players. "We have taken care to study this Andorra team. They have a clear game plan and they all stick to their defensive duties-  with a lot of passion and merit."

A win will likely keep Les Bleus in second place in their group and could even see them take control should leaders Turkey fail to win for the first time in the campaign as they take on third-placed Iceland, also on Tuesday.
