Les Bleus: Rami concerns ahead of Uruguay clash
France's OM defender Adil Rami sat out Saturday training with a calf complaint but is expected to be available for Tuesday's friendly against Uruguay at the Stade de France.
All of Didier Deschamps' Bleus who came on as subs or did not play in the 2-0 defeat to the Netherlands in Rotterdam on Friday took part in a full-full-strength training session at Clairefontaine on Saturday afternoon, with that match's starters stayed indoors to recuperate.
The only exception was in-form Olympique de Marseille stopper Adil Rami who, despite having spent Friday evening on the bench, was excused from the training session led by assistant coach Guy Stéphan due to a calf complaint.
However, the injury is not considered serious and Rami, who played a key role in his club's return to winnings ways in the Week 13 Ligue 1 Conforama against Dijon, is expected to be available to start or come off the bench as the World Champions look to bounce back against Uruguay in a friendly at the Stade de France on Tuesday night.
