UEFA Champions League Group A
Jan Breydelstadion, Bruges
Club Brugge KV 0 - 5 Paris Saint-Germain
Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach): "[Mbappé] knows I hate playing without him. He had a muscle injury and played 15 minutes against Nice. It was the first time he'd not had a reaction in the muscle afterwards. Either he was going to start and play 60 minutes or come on and finish the game. That doesn't mean he has to prove his quality. I'm not stupid!"
Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain forward): "It's true that I wanted to start the game and I thought I would start. The coach made his choice and I have to accept it. I wanted to show that it's difficult to do without me. I want to fight in order to keep my place and help the team. Football is my passion and I haven't been able to play for two months and that's very painful. I want to play every game, get back up to speed, and score goals."
Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain captain): "I'm happy for Kylian. He was coming back from injury and made an impact immediately. He always does. We don't have the words to describe him. We saw a great Kylian Mbappé tonight. The quality of his technique and his pace are incredible."
