Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder): "It was a very tough game, as it always is in the semi-finals of the Cup because a place in the final is at stake. It was hard to get that first goal. We are happy to have won and to have qualified for the final. Nantes defended very deep, so we had to try our luck from further out. That's what I did. I'm happy because the goal set us on our way. It's never easy to win this type of match. Dani's goal was incredible. He tried something that only he knows how to do. We are very happy for him."

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach): "It wasn't easy to find our rhythm with so many players sidelined with injury. But we started very well, pressing high as a team and winning the ball high up the pitch. The team showed an exceptional mentality. It was a deserved win. A tough win. We worked as a team, like that incredible goal-line clearance by Presnel (Kimpembe) at the end of the match. I am very proud of the team. When you play a semi-final, the only option is victory and a place in the final. I am very happy that Marco Verratti scored. We are missing a number of attacking players, so others have the shoulder the responsibility. We are all very happy for him. Dani's goal let us finish the match on a high. It was an exceptional goal. I am very happy for him because he worked very hard to come back from injury. Unfortunately we lost Marquinhos tonight, and that's a real blow."

Vahid Halilhodzic (FC Nantes coach): "It's always going to be tough against Paris, but with the refereeing going the way it di tonight, it was even more complicated. I'm persuaded that we could have pulled off something huge tonight, and I'm somewhat bitter now. Yes, we showed some deficiencies, but tonight we simply couldn't catch a break."
