Bastia sweep aside Lorient
Enzo Crivelli found the net twice as SC Bastia defeated FC Lorient 3-0 on Saturday in an incident-packed game in which the visitors finished with nine men.

Crivelli would eventually steal the show, but it was another summer loan signing, Allan Saint-Maximin, who would break the deadlock (25') in Brittany. When former Lorient man Sadio Diallo's free-kick ricocheted off the defensive wall, Saint-Maximin unleashed a ferocious shot that flashed beyond Benjamin Lecomte.
Les Merlus' evening quickly got worse as Didier Ndong was dismissed for an ill-timed challenge on Mehdi Mostefa (30'), Lorient's second red card in as many Ligue 1 games this term.
Crivelli capitalised eight minutes later, easing into the penalty area unmarked to head home a Diallo corner. After Lindsay Rose tripped Thievy Bifouma in the box on the hour mark, the powerfully-built Crivelli stepped up to take the penalty only to see Lecomte turn his effort aside.
Lorient's frustration boiled over in the shape of Benjamin Jeannot losing his cool 13 minutes from time to earn himself and his team another red card before Crivelli atoned for his spot-kick miss, following up after a Mostefa effort had struck a post to head past the wrongfooted Lecomte (81').
