LOSC Lille remain without a L1 win in 2013 and needed an equaliser from teenage debutant Divock Origi to snatch a point with a 1-1 draw at home to ESTAC Troyes on Saturday.

Origi had made promising showings for Lille's reserve side this season, but when Rudi Garcia threw the 17-year-old on for Ronny Rodelin on 68 minutes, he surely could not have expected the Belgian starlet would strike just six minutes later to cancel out Fabien Camus' opener on the half-hour and earn the hosts only their second point of the new year.

Having drawn a blank in five of their last ten league outings, Lille were clearly determined to boost both their confidence and their goal difference against their struggling visitors, who started the game second-from-bottom. After a smart one-two with Dimitri Payet, Nolan Roux fizzed a shot just wide barely two minutes in, and Tulio De Melo, completely unmarked in the box, then brought a good stop from Yohan Thuram-Ulien with Troyes all at sea.

Having rode out the early storm, however, Jean-Marc Furlan's men began to threaten themselves. Florain Jarjat grazed the bar with a header from a free-kick while Camus came within a whisker of converting a Stéphane Darbion set-piece before he did put the visitors in front, drilling home from distance after being teed up by Benjamin Nivet.

A Florent Balmont blockbuster, watched carefully by Thuram-Ulien, provided Lille's riposte, but it was not until young Origi had emerged from the bench they would finally get themselves level. While Payet's jink past Darbion and cross provided the impetus for the equaliser, Troyes' defending contributed as they allowed the Lille substitute the freedom of the back post from where he nodded in.

Payet might have given Lille a welcome win but sent a free-kick just wide before supplying Lucas Digne with a shooting opportunity, but the full-back's shot was met by Thuram-Ulien, who ensured Troyes picked up a point that leaves them five adrift of safety before Sunday's games.
