After defenders Abdoulaye Méïté from WBA and Samuel Souprayen from Rennes, promoted Dijon have secured the services of Japan international Daisuke Matsui from Grenoble and former France U21 international Younousse Sankharé from PSG.

Despite spending the start of last season with Russian outfit Tom Tomsk, Matsui has spent much of his professional career in Ligue 1, firstly with Le Mans, then Saint-Etienne before joining Japanese-owned outfit GF38 at the start of the 2009-10 campaign.

30-year-old Matsui has made 145 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 17 goals.

Dijon have also moved to sign Sankharé permanently after the midfielder spent last season on loan at the Burgundy club, playing 29 matches and scoring six goals in their promotion campaign. A PSG youth product, Sankharé spent the 2008-09 season on loan at Stade de Reims.

On Wednesday, Dijon lost their first pre-season friendly 1-0 to third division Besançon.
