Kylian Mbappé might be a two-time Ligue 1 Conforama champion and FIFA World Cup winner at the tender age of 19, but the forward is hungry for more after returning from Russia. Angers, be warned.

France swept to their second World Cup triumph in July, with Mbappé scoring four goals for Didier Deschamps' men. Any questions that the youngster would have tired legs after his endeavours in Russia were quickly dismissed last Saturday, though, with the former AS Monaco man scoring a brace in a 3-1 dismissal of EA Guingamp.

"The World Cup? It's finished. We won it, it is part of history," the forward explained at last weekend's post-match press conference. "But now we're all back at our club. I haven't won everything yet. There's still a lot to win, rest assured!"

Unblemished record

PSG have won seven of their nine games against Angers, drawing the other two, and the Loire Country club could be forgiven a sharp intake of breath with Mbappé making it clear the champions would not look past Saturday's visitors in their pursuit of an eighth Ligue 1 Conforama crown.

"My work is still the same," he said. "All I want is to score and to win. I'm working to produce this kind of performance and I'm working to do it again next week."

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has had to contend with a raft of injuries since taking the helm at the Parc des Princes in the summer, with Dani Alves, Edinson Cavani and Julian Draxler among those yet to have featured for the champions this term.

The German tactician has been true to form though, with Mbappé joining Timothy Weah, Moussa Diaby, Antoine Bernède, Colin Dagba and Stanley Nsoki as one of six teenagers used so far by the former Borussia Dortmund coach. Most of them can expect to be thrown in once more against Angers on Saturday.

'Deserved to play'

''They deserved to play because they've been with us for five weeks and worked hard," said Tuchel of his youthful contingent. "They keep improving. They need to be ready to play for the first team and, in my opinion, they are.''

Former Schalke defender Thilo Kehrer could be set for his debut, meanwhile, with the Germany Under-21 international completing a move from the Royal Blues last Thursday. A baptism of fire seems unlikely for the versatile stopper, though.

While PSG sit top of the pile after two games played with a perfect two wins from two to the tune of six goals scored and just one conceded, Angers are yet to get any points on the board, with Saturday's 1-0 reverse at Stade Rennais F.C. following on from their opening day 4-3 loss to promoted Nîmes Olympique.

To make matters worse, Angers will be without midfielder Vincent Pajot and striker Stéphane Bahoken - signed from AS Saint-Étienne and RC Strasbourg Alsace respectively this summer. Pajot dislocated his elbow against Rennes, while Bahoken, who has two goals in three career games against PSG, is not match fit following a thigh complaint.

Angers management

Despite their recent travails, Tuchel's opposite number Stéphane Moulin remains upbeat.

"I liked the players' attitude," he said following the loss to Rennes. "We didn't give anything to our opponents, they had to dig deep to get their win. We already went through a bad spell three years ago, but we managed to get out of it."

Angers are at least bolstered by the fact that Cheikh N'Doye and Jeff Reine-Adélaïde are approaching full fitness. The former has returned on loan from Birmingham City while the latter has made his own loan from Arsenal permanent. Both impressed from the bench against Rennes and are likely to start.

Possible line-ups:

PSG: Buffon; Kehrer, Marquinhos, Silva, Dagba; Nkunku, Bernède, Rabiot; Mbappé, Weah, Neymar

Angers: Butelle; Manceau, Traoré, Pavlovic, Capelle; Mangani; Fulgini, Reine-Adélaïde, N'Doye, Tait; Kanga
