Neymar: 'I'm happy'
Away on international duty with Brazil, Neymar reiterated how happy he is at Ligue 1 Conforama champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Ahead of earning his 100th Brazil cap against Senegal on Thursday, the 27-year-old said: "I'm happy with my national team and at my club. Everybody knows what happened in the summer and that I wanted to leave. Today I feel happy and at ease at my club. I'm not only happy when I'm away with my national team. The season has started very well for me and I'll fight tooth and nail for my club. I'll be at 100% in order that we can win big things. By being happy at my club, I'll be happy with my national team."
Speaking to Brazilian journalists, Neymar also reflected on the injuries that have cut short his first two seasons at the capital club. He said: "My objective is always to be among the best and the last two seasons I've not been up there because I've been injured and had a lot of time out. If you look at my matches and my statistics then you'll see that I've not stopped playing football. Unfortunately injuries are part of an athlete's life and you need to be mentally strong to get through them."
Neymar has scored four goals in five Ligue 1 Conforama games for leaders PSG and is the club's top scorer.
