Neymar nearing first-team return for PSG
Neymar Jr. is nearing his first-team return with Paris Saint-Germain after coming through training unscathed in recent days.
The world's most expensive player when he swapped Barcelona for the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2017, the Brazilian has lit up the French capital since his arrival.
A metatarsal injury sustained in the 2-0 victory over RC Strasbourg Alsace in the Coupe de France in January curtailed a season which had hitherto seen 20 goals and seven assists in all competitions, though.
Neymar has not played since, but after coming through drills and even taking on coach Thomas Tuchel with a crossbar challenge, the player's father and agent has no doubt that the attacking talent is raring to go.

"There will always be rumours, you can't have a player like Neymar without others dreaming of having him," he said. "But PSG fans can rest easy. Neymar wants to continue at PSG, get back on the pitch, and help the club win titles."
Neymar, 27, was one of nine players who were left behind to recuperate at the club's Camp des Loges training complex during Wednesday's 3-2 loss to FC Nantes, and the coach was non-committal as to how many returns there would be against AS Monaco on Sunday.
"I don't know how many of them will be back," he said. "It's a difficult situation."
