Weah targets loan move
Promising Paris Saint-Germain forward Timothy Weah has revealed he'd like to go out on loan soon.
Weah, the son of former PSG star George, has played 54 minutes of Ligue 1 Conforama football this season, and scored his maiden league goal for the club in the 3-0 success over Caen in Week 1. The striker managed 76 minutes for the United States in their 3-0 friendly loss in England on Thursday evening and is targeting more minutes at club level.
Weah, 18, told Sky Sports: "My progression at PSG is going really well and I'm just taking it day by day. With the stars that we have you try to learn as much as you can. Right now I'm not playing but I'm always looking to improve, doing extra stuff, watching the other guys and learning from them. I'm hoping to go out on loan soon.
"PSG is really teaching me that you have to fight for your position. I feel like I'm doing a really good job with the talents we have like Neymar, Mbappé and all those guys. It's just a matter of time and I'm going to get there."
