Kylian Mbappé, Victor Osimhen and Bernardo Silva have all played lead roles in recent matches between Monaco and Lille - ahead of the duo's upcoming Ligue 1 Uber Eats meeting, ligue1.com picks out three classic games.

2019/20, Round 19: Monaco 5-1 Lille

Monaco netted their most goals against Lille since a 6-1 triumph in the principality in 1984/85 — the biggest victory either side has recorded in the duo's encounters — as they ran riot at the Stade Louis II last season. Incredibly, Lille went in front thanks to Victor Osimhen (13'), but were 2-1 behind at the break thanks to strikes from Gelson Martins (23') and Keita Baldé (29'). Wissam ben Yedder added two more after the interval (53', 65'), and Kamil Glik made it five late on (90+2') to give Monaco fans an early Christmas present. "We made a lot of individual errors and against forwards of the quality of Monaco's, you don't get away with that," said deflated Lille boss Christophe Galtier, whose side had won 3-0 in a Coupe de la Ligue tie in the principality just four days earlier.

2016/17, Round 37: Monaco 4-0 Lille

The league leaders left themselves just a win away from clinching a first top-flight title since 2000 when they picked apart Les Dogues late in a memorable 2016/17 campaign. Leonardo Jardim's side played some of the most fluid football seen on the continent in recent seasons, and Radamel Falcao (6') and Bernardo Silva (45') eased them ahead by half-time. Falcao added a brilliantly constructed second (69') before Junior Alonso's late own-goal (88') put the principality outfit on the brink of ending Paris Saint-Germain's four-year title-winning streak.

2015/16, Round 33: Lille 4-1 Monaco

Lille have avoided defeat just once — a goallesss draw in Round 2 of the 2018/19 campaign — in seven Ligue 1 Uber Eats meetings with Monaco since this thumping win. Morgan Amalfitano's goal (37') was the only strike of the first half, and when the hosts' Renato Civelli (55') and the visitors' Elderson (65') were dismissed, no-one expected the fireworks to come. Eder (67'), ex-Monaco man Mounir Obbadi (77') and future Monaco man Djibril Sidibé (88') all found the net before Fares Bahlouli's consolation strike (90+2') in a game that saw Kylian Mbappé come off the bench for Monaco to make just his 11th L1 appearance. Anyone know what became of him?
