Paris Saint-Germain Maestro Angel Di Maria was a constant menace from long range in season 2018-19. The Argentine found the back of the net six times from outside the area, including three times with free-kicks. The attacking midfielder hit his best missiles against Nîmes Olympiques, Rennes, Montpellier, Dijon (2) and Marseille.

Antonin Bobichon: 5

In his very first season in Ligue 1 Conforama,  Nîmes Olympique midfielder Antonin Bobichon showed he has a knack for scoring spectacular goals - notably a superbly nuanced lob against Nantes. The man with a cannon in his right boot hit seven goals in 30 appearances - five of which came from outside the area. On top of his screamer against Nantes, the 23-year-old also hit the target from distance against Paris Saint-Germain, Bordeaux, Dijonand Rennes.

Mollet, Khazri, Bourigeaud, Ben Arfa: 4

Gifted with a powerful shot, Florent Mollet proved himself over and over again for Montpellier Hérault SC, notably bagging an exceptional strike against Amiens SC in Week 2. Meawhile, for ASSE, Wahbi Khazri alo shone form distance, as did two Stade Rennais players: Hatem Ben Arfa et Benjamin Bourigeaud.
