Presnel Kimpembe and Steve Mandanda have been recalled to the France squad by coach Didier Deschamps for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers against Iceland and Turkey.
Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Kimpembe and Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Mananda were not called up for Les Bleus' Group H victories over Albania and Andorra in September, the former still recovering from a groin injury, the latter seeing LOSC's Mike Maignan preferred to him.
Deschamps shows faith
Deschamps has heaped praise on both, though, saying that he has "never doubted" Kimpembe and that "Mandanda returns as the No.2" behind captain Hugo Lloris - a stunning start to the season which saw a spectacular double-save in the 1-1 draw with Stade Rennais FC on Sunday helping the hot-stopper's cause.
