Neymar Jr. has been handed a three-game ban by the French Football Federation which will rule him out of Paris Saint-Germain's final two outings of this season.

The Brazilian has been banned for three matches, plus a further two games suspended, after a confrontation with a spectator as he went to collect his runners-up medal at the end of last month's Coupe de France final, which PSG lost to Stade Rennais FC on penalties.

It means that Saturday's game at Angers SCO, in which Neymar scored one goal and made another in a 2-1 PSG win, was his last appearance of the season. He will miss next weekend's home meeting with Dijon FCO and the champions' trip to Stade de Reims on the final day of the campaign.

In addition, the world's most expensive player will also sit out the Trophée des Champions against Rennes in Shenzhen, China, on August 3.

Neymar is also suspended for the first three matches of next season's UEFA Champions Leagaue group stage as a punishment for an outburst on social media in the wake of PSG's defeat by Manchester United in the last 16 in March.

He finishes the Ligue 1 Conforama season with 15 goals in 17 appearances.
