Between them, Kylian Mbappé, Mauro Icardi and Ángel di María have scored all of Paris Saint-Germain's last 14 goals. They're known collectively as "DIM".

Despite Friday's loss at lowly Dijon, the attacking trio is working wonders and showing that there is life without Neymar, while making it difficult for Edinson Cavani to reclaim a regular first-team start following injury. Mbappé has scored seven goals in the last four games and set up two more. The World Cup winner has come back from injury with a bang.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said: "It was a difficult spell for him because he always wants to play, he always wants to score goals, and not being on the pitch, being out injured for several games, was new for him. He has worked really hard and intensively to come back. Now he feels free, he feels good, he is determined, and he has the quality to make the difference."

Icardi's rapid adaptation

Icardi has scored five times in the last four games, taking his tally to seven goals in the last six matches...The Argentine, on loan from Inter Milan with an option to buy, has taken to life in the Paris attack like a fish to water.

Tuchel commented: "He has adapted really quickly to our style of play, to our system, and he has helped us a lot. He is getting better with every training session and every game. He has grown in confidence because he is scoring goals and setting them up, and that's great because it gives us added quality."

Di Maria in great form

Di María's two goals in this run both came at Nice, including this stunner. The Argentine has also set up seven in the last four matches. He is quite possibly the best player in France on current form. Di Maria said: "I am really happy here at PSG and really happy to still be playing at this level. The confidence the coach has shown in me is very important for me. I have to keep working and trying to do my best for the club."

Tuchel is enjoying working with the former Manchester United star and said: "If he is relaxed, he is always capable of doing something decisive and he has all my confidence because is such a team player. He is always thinking about the team. He is incredibly reliable, a top professional and an exceptional player."
