 AS Saint-Etienne  1 - 0  AS Monaco 

Denis Bouanga (AS Saint-Etienne forward): "We wanted this victory and we reaped the rewards of being a united team. We were able to control this match and win it thanks to this goal. We had to block Adrien Silva, who hurt us in the first half, and we did it well through Riyad [Boudebouz]. We felt better to move forward. We are a solid team, we have to keep going like this. The new coach has imposed his tactics and reshuffled the deck- which means we have a new team, not the one from the beginning of the season."

Adrien Silva (AS Monaco midfielder): "We could easily have been ahead at half-time - all we were missing was a goal. After the break, the ground leaned in the opposite direction and it's harder when you have to go up the slope. We tried to get forward and we conceded a goal. That's how it is. We're going to continue our work, which has been very good. I don't know if it was Saint-Etienne's changing things up or other circumstances that bothered us most."

 OGC Nice  2 - 0  Stade de Reims 

Patrick Vieira (Nice coach): "This win will do us a lot of good. It was disappointing to hear the whistles at the end of the match. It has an impact because this is a young team. The supporters want to see a team who play, who get forward, but we are going through a difficult period and the three points were more important than the way we played. We need to do more, and we will do more, we will improve. We played with the handbrake on at times but I am not disappointed with the performance because I know how lacking in confidence we are. We have players to come back from injury too."

David Guion (Reims coach): "The players lost their way for 15 minutes after the sending-off. That was enough for Nice to score two goals. In the second half, with 10 against 11, we had chances and we dominated."

 Girondins de Bordeaux 2-0 FC Nantes 

Paulo Sousa (Bordeaux coach): "We only gave our opponents one chance in the whole game. Otherwise we were in control. I have to congratulate my players for a very mature performance. Hwang is beginning to understand his positioning and he is communicating better with his teammates. He is starting to play a decisive role in every game. When we have the energy of our supporters behind us, the alchemy helps us to get results. The more united we are, the stronger this club will be."

Christian Gourcuff (Nantes coach): "We were superior in the first half. After the first five minutes, when they pressed us intensely, we took control of the match and began to create chances. We conceded the opening goal on the counter-attack and then the second after the interval. It just comes down to a lack of maturity. We had time to get back into the game but we just gave up. It shows how fragile we are and how little margin for error we have. We were not inferior to Bordeaux but we still lost."

 Olympique de Marseille 2-1 LOSC 

André Villas-Boas (Marseille coach): "I think we deserved to win. We put all the things we were missing in our last two outings into this one, well at least what we were lacking in the first half of our games at Paris and at Monaco. The team spirit was good and the team played well and it's good for us to have won. We spoke amongst ourselves this week and we were all frustrated after two good second halves. It means we are capable of doing it but we have to be able to do it for 90 minutes."

Christophe Galtier (Lille coach): "We didn't turn up for this important game. After 12 games of the season we are undoubtedly bottom of the away form table. We were outdone in terms of intensity and in the 50-50s. We were beaten when it came to second balls. Marseille deserved to win as they put us under pressure and stopped us from playing."

 Toulouse FC 2-3 Olympique Lyonnais 

Antoine Kombouaré (Toulouse coach): "Sometimes you have to settle for a draw. When you score two goals like this evening but also against Rennes last time out and you end up losing the two matches, that's because you've defended badly. We must be capable of doing better in terms of control at the end of the games as we jumped straight into the mouth of the wolf. We need to find the right balance."

Rudi Garcia (Lyon coach): "I hope that this is a foundation stone. It must make my players realise that they must never give up on anything. Even when we were led twice I could tell there was character in this team. I liked the way it panned out as it proved the players refused to lose. Thanks to these three points we are in calmer waters. We have just taken seven points out of nine and that means we can work with serenity. We're still convalescent but less tense."

 Amiens SC 1-0 Stade Brestois 29 

Luka Elsner (Amiens coach): "In terms of the points on the board we are up where we point to be, but nothing has been achieved yet. We're not thinking about the table even if we knew that a loss would have been terribly frustrating after the recent draws we've had. We showed some good values by not conceding this evening, even if we suffered in the second half. We were scared of losing and that meant we sat deep."

Olivier Dall'Oglio (Brest coach): "It was a game of two halves from both teams. We started badly and weren't up to it in terms of intensity, while Amiens were the opposite. We weren't actors at the start of the match, we were observers and that caused us problems. In the second half we had more of the ball and had chances but we made too many technical mistakes in order to hope for ay better. As disappointed as I was at half-time, I was reassured by the second half."

 Angers SCO 1-0 RC Strasbourg Alsace 

Stéphane Moulin (Angers coach): "We had two objectives: getting back to winning ways and winning at home. The objectives were reached even if the match was difficult. It was a good result at the end of a solid match and we're second this evening. That's anecdotic because it's very tight. It means more to say that at the end of Week 12 we have six wins."

Thierry Laurey (Strasbourg coach): "We didn't get our reward. We did good things but we lost. We're disappointed by the result, even if we showed progress in terms of our play and the number of chances we created, and the few chances we gave up. At the end of the day we lost and that's frustrating. It means we're on a razor's edge for our home games. The defeat was cruel."

 FC Metz 2-2 Montpellier Hérault SC 

Vincent Hognon (Metz coach): "There's an enormous amount of frustration. We did so many good things in attack and defence in the first half, and even in the second half. I have to hold onto what we did well as we were committed and defensively rigorous for a long time. I am disappointed for the players. We had chances to go 3-0 up and 3-1 up. We have to do better in those situations."

Michel Der Zakarian (Montpellier coach): "We took a good point after a catastrophic first half. We woke up and played well in the last half-hour. We put some intensity into our game, played direct football and added some quality. That's the only good bit of the night given that our first half was insipid. It's incredible to play like that."

  Dijon FCO 2-1 Paris Saint-Germain 

Stéphane Jobard (Dijon coach): "I'm happy for my players because they were rewarded for their efforts. We caused PSG problems and were also able to hold them off. We wanted to start in 4-4-2, and the players proved to me that I was right to do that. You also need a bit of luck, and it's worth noting PSG hit the woodwork three times. It's a great chapter in the club's history, and proves to me that we have our place in Ligue 1. I'm certain of my players' mental strength, and we showed character in equalising before the break. We scored at key times: at the end of the first half and the start of the second. That ruined things a bit for PSG, because after that they became a little too individualist."

Thomas Tuchel (PSG coach): "We were too passive in the first half. We lacked precision and rhythm. Defensively and also in attack, we didn't play together. It was a lot better in the second half. We had three shots in the first half and 17 in the second, but we didn't deserve to get lucky. It's a win for Dijon, but it's normal when a team wants to win against us. They were lucky, they scored twice without any real chances. We had a lot of chances, we could have won it in the seccond half, but that's not how it went today."
