OGC Nice will have to do without the services of injured midfielder Pierre Lees-Melou for their final two matches of the Ligue 1 Conforama campaign.
Nice midfielder Pierre Lees-Melou, 24, will not be available for the visit of SM Caen and the trip to Lyon for the final match of the Ligue 1 Conforama season after sustaining a hamstring injury, OGC Nice coach Lucien Favre announced on Wednesday.
Lees-Melou: Out of action
"The season has been over for Pierre Lees-Melou since the derby against Marseille [in Ligue 1 Conforama's Week 36]. He has sustained a hamstring strain," declared the Swiss coach without providing any further details on the injury itself.
Signed from Dijon in the summer of 2017, Lees-Melou earned a place as one of the pillars of the Nice midfield this season, making 34 league appearances (33 starts) and notching five goals and six assists (19th on the assists table).
