FC Nantes defender Diego Carlos will be able to play in Wednesday's Ligue 1 Conforama match at Toulouse FC after the second yellow card he received against Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend was rescinded.
The disciplinary commission of the LFP met on Monday after receiving referee Tony Chapron's report from the game at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday night, which PSG won 1-0.
Diego Carlos was shown a second yellow card, and therefore a red, late in the game after accidentally knocking over the referee as the pair raced to keep up with play.
After reading an additional report filed by Tony Chapron, who confirmed after reviewing footage that Diego Carlos did not mean to knock him over, the commission decided to rescind the second booking, thereby clearing the player.
Meanwhile, the disciplinary commission will study Mr Chapron's involvement in the incident when it next meets on Thursday, January 18.
